How affiliate funding works
UK Component Deals is a commercial editorial publication. We plan to use affiliate links to earn money from the buying decisions our content helps readers make. There are currently no affiliate links on this site.
An affiliate link identifies us as the referring publisher. Under an affiliate arrangement, the retailer or network pays us commission when a purchase through that link qualifies under its terms. The amount and eligibility conditions depend on the arrangement.
That creates a commercial incentive to refer purchases. Affiliate availability and commission opportunities can affect which offers we consider. We explain our approach in the editorial policy.
What an Ad label means
Ad identifies advertising. When an offer or link is affiliate advertising, the label will appear before the promotional content or next to the link, visible before you choose to engage.
If a whole article is affiliate advertising, its preview and heading will be labelled too. Where only part of a guide is advertising, we will identify that part and its links. A general funding explanation does not replace those labels.
Reference links and retailer purchases
The manufacturer links in our current buying guides are sources for the information discussed. They are not affiliate links, and their inclusion does not indicate a partnership or endorsement.
If you buy from a retailer, that retailer or the seller identified in its listing handles the sale. Check its final price, delivery information, offer conditions and returns process before ordering.
Privacy and questions
Affiliate links can involve tracking by a retailer or network when followed. The site currently includes no affiliate tracking or analytics scripts. Read our privacy notice for the current position.
